Kano - A solitary strike from Mohammed Gambo helped Kano
Pillars record a 1-0 home win over Bayelsa United in a rescheduled game of the
Glo Premier League played on Wednesday evening, KickOff Nigeria reports.
Bayelsa suffered a setback minutes before kick-off, as their
skipper Salomon Junior took ill, and had to be taken off the roster. The game
commenced after a minute of silence was observed in honour of the late Emir of
Kano, Ado Bayero.
A pass from Abdul Haruna saw Gambo hit the back of the net
in the 31st minute to secure all three points for Kano Pillars.
