Kano - Nigerian Premier League champions, Kano Pillars
will depart for Kinshasa aboard a chartered flight for their first leg Preliminary Round CAF Champions
League tie against DR Congo's AS Vita Club.
The team will jet out of the Aminu Kano International
Airport on Friday for the tie scheduled for Sunday.
Pillars, now handled by newly appointed Technical Adviser,
Okey Emordi have been strategizing ahead of the first leg tie.
The squad was boosted following the return of three players
- Rabiu Ali, Shehi Abdullahi and Umar Zango, who featured at the 2014
Championship for African Nations in South Africa.
A win for Pillars in Sunday’s game will put them at advantage
ahead of the return leg in Kano.
