Karabukspor snap up Simon Zenke on two-year deal

Abuja - Turkish First League club Karabukspor has announced that it has completed a deal to sign former Nigeria youth international Simon Zenke.

The 26-year-old has appended his signature to a two - year contract that will keep him at the Yenisehir Stadium until June 30, 2017, that is if both parties honour the agreement.

Zenke suited up 32 times for Saniurfaspor over the course of last season, scoring 4 goals in the second - tier after he joined the club from Istanbul BB in the winter of 2013.

Before he returned to Turkey, the striker was on the books of Nancy but had to severe ties with the French team due to his lack of playing opportunities.

Kardemir Karabukspor is Simon Zenke's third club in Turkey following spells with Samsunspor and Istanbul BB.

Apart from the aforementioned teams, he has also turned out for RC Strasbourg (France) and Niger Tornadoes in his homeland.

Nigeria international strikers Emmanuel Emenike, Michael Eneramo and Joseph Akpala played for Karabukspor at one point in their career.
