Lagos - Stephen Keshi has attributed yesterday’s World Cup qualifying win over Kenya to the teamwork and discipline of his players, KickOffNigeria reports.
Ahmed Musa’s 81st-minute winner, coupled with Malawi's stalemate with Namibia in Blantyre, put Nigeria in control of Group F with eight points, two ahead of Malawi.
“I will not single out any player for praise,” Keshi said. “This is a sweet victory for us and it was only possible by teamwork. Everyone played his part and at the end; we are happy to have the three points.”
