Abuja - Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi said he is prepared to shake hands with Malawi coach Tom Saintfliet when their sides meet on Saturday.
The pair exchanged some heated words after the Malawian football federation recently requested FIFA to have the venue for Saturday’s crucial World Cup qualifier moved from Calabar for safety reasons.
Keshi retaliated and Saintfliet reported the Super Eagles coach to FIFA for alleged racist remarks aimed at him, Kick Off Nigeria reports.
"Why not? I have nothing against him," Keshi answered when asked if he would shake hands with Saintfliet. "I don't know why you people keep bringing this up.
"It is the media that is stirring up controversy when there is none. That issue is behind us and I don't want to talk about it anymore."
