Salvador - Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has arrived in Salvador,
State of Bahia in Brazil ahead of Friday’s 2014 World Cup draws.
The Africa Cup of Nations winning coach, whose team was also the first African
side to qualify for the finals, travelled with some Nigeria Football Federation
On arrival in Salvador, Keshi said: “We are here hoping for
a favourable draw just like every other delegation. But the truth is that all
32 teams in the race are formidable and no group will be easy, a press
“My joy is that my boys have been telling me they want to
show the world what they are capable of doing at the finals next summer. We
respect all the teams but do not fear any.”
The Nigeria delegation, booked into the Hotel Sauipe Fun in
the Costa do Sauipe Resort, where the Draw Ceremony will take place on Friday, attended
a meeting of all Participating Member Associations on Thursday afternoon.
