Lagos - Super Eagles coach, Stephen is not planning of
dropping Brown Ideye and Ahmed Musa as Nigeria get set for the 2014 FIFA World
Cup in Brazil.
Ideye has come under strong condemnation from Nigeria fans
following his inability to convert, and Keshi has as a result been pressured to
drop the Dynamo Kyiv forward.
Musa has also faced criticisms from fans back home for disappointing
performance in important games, but Keshi has ruled out any thought of dropping
the duo, insisting that fans need to be patient with the players.
"Ideye always work hard tactically, in positional play
and discipline wise. Musa is working hard. We all have to be patient with them",
he said in a chat with Journalists in Lagos.
"You can't throw a player away after bad games. If
that's the case Torres won't have a club."
Keshi is expected to submit a list of 35 players to the
Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the World Cup.
The list will be pruned down to a final 23.
