Lagos - Kogi United coach Fatai Osho says there is still more work to do in his team as they prepare for the new season of the Nigerian National League.
Osho, a former coach at Remo Stars, began his reign in Kogi United with a 3-2 win over Zico FC that was followed by a 4-2 win over All stars FC in his first two pre-season encounters.
Osho said in a press release made available to News24 Nigeria that preparing the team for the new season hasn't been easy, adding that “screening the players who came over for trials, selecting and trimming them down to 30 which went smooth, was quite tedious”.
He said the pre-season games already played have helped the club, saying they are "still looking forward to getting the very best players in the team as we are currently working on the cohesion which is key for me in any team I have handled.”
Osho however thanked the people of Kogi for helping him adapt quickly to the environment.
