Abuja - The League Management Company (LMC) has called on clubs set to participate in the 2013/14 Glo Premier League season to "submit all existing and new sponsorship contracts" including shirt advertising for verification and approval.
This demand from the LMC is in line with Article 6.3 of the league rules which states that "in all League matches, the players and officials outfits may carry advertisement subject to the approval by the League. The League must be notified before commencing negotiations," SuperSport reports.
The chief operating officer of the LMC, Salihu Abubakar, who issued the directive in a statement, said the reminder to the clubs is based on previous communication on their sponsorship including shirt deals.
