Abuja - The resident-general of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rafiu Ladipo, has travelled to Brazil to rally for the support of Nigerians based in the South American country.
Ladipo who departed for Brazil on Thursday night lamented the low patronage of the World Cup tickets for Nigeria's group games by football fans around the country, hence the need to travel to Brazil to raise more support for the team, Kick Off Nigeria reports.
"I am off to Brazil tonight (Thursday) to meet with Nigerians leaving in Brazil particularly in Sao Paulo and Rio. This is in our efforts as the Supporters Club to raise many Nigerians as supporters and fans for the Super Eagles for the 2014 World Cup," Ladipo told SportingLife yesterday.
