19:13 FULL-TIME MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 ARSENAL
18:54 81st min -
Gnabry on for Arteta.
18:46 75th min -
15 minutes to go and Giggs comes on for Kagawa , and Bendtner on for Cazorla.
Arsenal have more possession at the moment, but they haven't been able to turn that into a goal opportunities.
70th min - Arsenal make their first change, Jack Wilshere replacing Mathieu Flamini.
18:33 Wayne Rooney has good shot on goal, he strikes with his left but it goes past the right-hand upright. That was a golden opportunity to put his side 2-0 up.
18:28 56th min - United get another corner. But Arsenal get on the attack, the first in a very long time. They get a corner, the ball comes to Ozil who hits the side-netting with a left foot drive.
18:21 Vermaelen skies a free-kick that was just outside the United box.
18:19 45th min - Arsenal start the second-half. Big team news, is that Nemanja Vidic has not recovered from the blow he received when he clattered into his goalkeeper De Gea. And the United medical team advised Moyes to take the Serb off. Will Giroud now have license to roam ?
18:02 HALF-TIME MANCHESTER UNITED
De Gea and Vidic clatter into one another, the Serb's chin hit the Spaniard's thigh. Vidic seems to be out cold.
17:57 45th min
- Arsenal will be happy to go into the half-time break, they haven't had much of the possession. Aaron Ramsey hasn't put his mark on the match yet and the Londoners need to regroup and find a better game-plan to get past a youthful, muscular United central defence.
Phil Jones clatters into Szczesny from the corner. The big Englishman knocks the Pole out cold. You'll be glad to hear the 'keeper is fine after recieving some treatment and back up. Jones gets a yellow card for the clash.
17:52 40th min-
Another corner for United, who have been unrelentless in attack. Giroud brings down Rooney in the box, but the referee waves play on.
17:46 35th min-
That goal was exactly what the game needed, the fans are calmer and there seems to be a collective sigh of relief at Old Trafford.
17:39 26th min - GOAL!!!!
Robin Van Persie scores from a Wayne Rooney corner!
17:37 25th min
- The match is lacking a bit of sparkle, it needs a moment of brilliance or a red card to bring it to life. Both teams are teetering with one another.
17:33 21st minute- Smalling and Valencia combine well on the
right flank, as the centre-back bustled forward in a Pique-like fashion.
But the Ecuadorian's return pass finds Smalling in an offside
18th min- Rooney and Van Persie have had chances, but
nothing too trouble Szczesny . Rooney looked to be in again, but
Vermaelen was back to slide the out from Rooney's legs.
Arsenal's yellow kit is a very similar hue used by Bwin in
the digital adverts used at Old Trafford, and momentarily the Arsenal
players on the wing seem to disappear into the ad boards.
It's been all United in the opening 10 minutes, Arsenal
haven't had much of the ball. Moyes has a edge-of-the-seat look about
him this evening. He doesn't have the best record against Arsene Wenger,
and he'll hope with this crop of players that he can get one over the
5th minute of the match and it's United who look more
settled on the ball. The home fans are in a joyful mood, United are
unbeaten in 8 matches in all competitions.
17:14 And we're off, United on the attack. They win the first corner of the game.

off a huge victory last weekend, by beating Liverpool 2-0 at the
Emirates. Arsene Wenger will be pleased by the oustanding form of Aaron
Ramsey, the Welshman has been in superb shape this season, banging in
the goals. But this rivalry with Manchester United also seems to forget
history and on the day anything can happen.
David Moyes has had a
difficult period at the helm so far, and it was never going to be easy.
Sir Alex Ferguson left a legacy that many managers can only dream of
emulating. But Moyes brought in a few recruits, in the likes of Fellaini
from his old club Everton. The form of Wayne Rooney is something Moyes
can smile about, as the former Everton player has spearheaded United's
attack, while Robin Van Persie has had a few niggles to deal with and
his form is nowhere near it was last season. United won against Fulham
Mesut Ozil, Arsenal's summer recruit from Real Madrid, and the most expensive transfer the club has made poked fun at Manchester United's league position. Read more here: Gunners mocking Red Devils?
United's record against Arsenal is fantastic, the Mancunians have won 8
of the last 9 games against the Gunners. And even more interesting, is
that Arsenal hate coming to Old Trafford, their record at the ground is
catastrophic, only winning three times at Old Trafford in the Premier
United thrashed the Gunners 8-2 at Old Trafford in
2011, and Arsene Wengers team will always have that game in the back of
their mind. But this United team are not the same side that beat Arsenal
two years ago.
United are currently in 8th place on the log,
suffering three losses this season already. While Arsenal only lost once
this season, and are the only side to score in all 10 Premier League
games this season. They currently sit five points clear of Chelsea who
are in second spot.
