Four teams - MFM FC, Ikorodu United, Enyimba and Kano Pillars will feature in the tourney.

News24 was hinted by a member of the organizing team that the preseason tourney will be played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium because of the huge fun fair planned along.

Enyimba Int'l is in pole position to lift the NPFL trophy this season while Kano Pillars who won the trophy thrice in a row have struggled to repeat the form that saw them as champions.
