Lagos - The Football Association of Malawi have promised to pay players of their national team a 500 percent increased bonus if they beat Nigeria, KickOffNigeria.com reports.
This disclosure was made by FAM secretary-general Suzgho Nyirenda who
stated that the association had to dig deep into their pockets to
motivate their players against the African champions, by offering to pay
them MK200,000 (US$500), as against the usual MK30,000 (US$85).
"The incentive is a motivation for the players as they battle it out
with Nigeria at U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar," the FAM boss said.
