Madrid - The final day of the 2014/15 Primera Liga season in Spain was a mixed bag of sorts for Nigerian players, Supersport reports.
Midfielder Ramon Azeez and his Almeria side have been relegated to the Segunda after losing 3-2 to Valencia in their final game of the campaign.
Flying Eagles striker Isaac Success was however lucky as his Granda CF side stayed afloat courtesy a goalless draw at home with Atletico Madrid and other results on the final week which went in their favour.

Deportivo La Coruna drew 2-2 with Barcelona at the Nou Camp which meant Eibar’s 4-2 thumping of Cordoba was inconsequential at the end of the day.
Azeez and Success were both unused substitutes in their respective matches as Ikechukwu Uche was not listed in Villareal’s 4-0 loss to Atletico Bilbao.
Success played a total of 19 matches in La Liga for Granada this past season, scoring a single goal while Azeez featured in 14 matches for the relegated Almeria.
Ikechukwu Uche featured 23 times for Villareal, notching up six goals while his older brother, Kalu, who moved to Levante in the January transfer window, accumulated 17 games for Levante in La Liga scoring five goals. For the latest on national news, politics, sport, entertainment and more follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page.
