Lagos - Nigeria Football Federation president Aminu Maigari
has blamed the media for stirring up rumours that Super Eagles coach Stephen
Keshi may be sacked before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Maigari said he is disappointed that some journalists cook
up stories just to cause scare in town, and reiterated that Keshi remains the
coach of the Super Eagles, with no plan of sack.
There were also reports that the NFF may hire a foreign technical
assistant for Keshi, but that as well has been denied.
