Lagos - Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, may have had the
last laugh by refusing to get a foreign assistant ahead of the World Cup as the
Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has dispelled news of
compelling the gaffer to get an aid.
There have been wide spread rumours of the committee forcing
Keshi against his wishes to get a foreign assistant. A member of the committee, Paul Bassey,
even confirmed the story on radio.
But the Technical and Development Committee rose from its
22nd meeting on Wednesday, slamming the speculations of a planned 'foreign
technical assistant' for Super Eagles' Head Coach, Stephen Keshi.
The development may now calm the dust of an impending clash
between Keshi and his employers.
