NNL Super Four takes center stage

12 November 2013, 17:21

Abuja - The Super Four tournament organized by the Nigeria National League will kick off on Tuesday November 12 to Thursday 14 in Abuja.

The tournament is put together to determine the true winner of the second tier league, as the four teams that were promoted to the elite cadre at the end of the regular season last month, will be the participating teams.

A press release from NNL media officer Nicholas Akujobi says this years’s event is tagged “2013 Champions Cup Competition”.
All the participating clubs are already in Abuja for the showdown which will take place at the synthetic pitch of the FIFA Goal Project Center, Package B, Abuja National Stadium.

With two matches in a day, fans will be treated to a lot of football skills as the players will show what stuff they are made of from the first game to the epic final on Thursday at the same venue.

The league board had already concluded arrangements to present the winning team the coveted trophy at the venue while other categories of awards will be presented to deserving teams, officials and individuals on the last day.
