Lagos - The 2013 Nigeria National League annual club congress will be held in Abuja on December 5.

According to the NNL Secretary, Lawrence Katkem, the congress will take place at Crown Princess Hotels located at Wuse, Abuja on Thursday.

He revealed that the NNL clubs congress will among other things review the past football season and take decisions which will see to the smooth running of the second tier league in the new season.

It is also expected to rectify the decisions taken by the NNL Executive Board for the good of the game. They include the promotion and relegation of some teams that participated in the 2012/2013 league season.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had last week confirmed the promotion of four top leaders - Giwa FC and FC Taraba from Group A, and Abia Warriors FC and Crown FC of Ogbomosho - from Group B to play in the premier division.

The four teams had last month battled for the champion of champions trophy in Abuja in the Super Four soccer fiesta won by Giwa FC with Abia Warriors of Umuahia coming second with FC Taraba and Cown FC taking the third and fourth positions respectively.
