Lafia - Nasarawa United coach, Mohammed Baba Ganaru has
revealed that his wards would give Kano Pillars their first defeat this season
in the Nigeria's top flight football, Supersport reports.
United will this Wednesday welcome the Sai Masugida as the
two foes will go head-to-head in their Nigeria Professional Football League
(NPFL) week 5 encounter in Lafia.
Ganaru, whose wards were forced to a goalless draw last
Sunday by visiting 3SC said Kano Pillars would suffer the consequence of the
points they dropped to the Ibadan-based club.
“We tormented 3SC from the start to the end, but we could
not score, and I was so sad after the game because 3SC does not deserve to
leave Lafia with a point.
“3SC were so much lucky, but we have put that behind us now
as we have another tough duel this Wednesday with Kano Pillars.
“It's just a pity that Kano Pillars would have to face the
consequence of the point we dropped against 3SC because we must beat them on
Wednesday,” Ganaru said to supersport.com
Ganuru joined Nasarawa United from Kano Pillars last term
after guiding the Sai Masugida to win the NPFL title twice. For
