Lagos - Nember City boss, Victor Rumson Baribote has said
the club will parade only a 28 players in the 2013/14 season of the Glo
Nigerian Premier League.
Baribote said the club is embarking on a restructuring
exercise in all departments for cohesive and result oriented set goals.
“The era of ‘father Christmas’ is over. We retained 20 and
set to boost Nembe City with eight recruits”, he said in a statement made
available to News24 Nigeria.
“We shall continue sourcing for players from the grass-roots”.
“Our primary objective is make appreciative success in the
elite league, and above all, compete with the mentality of emerging champions
in the Federation Cup”.
Nembe City managed to escape relegation as they finished the
concluded season 15 on the log, with 52 points from 38 games.
