Abuja - Ex-Nigeria youth international and free agent Sani Emmanuel (22) is training with Qormi with a view to earning a deal this summer.

When put in the hot seat, new Qormi signing Noah Ojuola has advised the Maltese Premier League club to offer a contract to the attacker, who was the best player at the 2009 Fifa Under 17 World Cup.

"Sani Emmanuel has started training with Qormi and he is fit enough to be offered a contract," said Noah Ojuola to News24.com.

"He arrived in Malta last Wednesday and he trained with the club on Thursday, and played a friendly match on Friday.

"I think he will sign, everything depends on the club and his agent."

Sani Emmanuel had played for the youth team of Lazio before he was released at the end of the 2013 - 14 season when he ran out of contract.

The attacker has also represented Beitar Jerusalem, Salernitana, FC Biel-Bienne and Oskarshamns AIK.
