Premier League side FC Ufa have announced the signing of Sylvester Igboun from
Danish champions FC Midtjylland on a four-year deal.
Prior to completing his move to Ufa, the 24-year-old Igboun had spent the
whole of his professional career with FCM after joining them as a teenager from
collaborative team FC Ebedei.
The attacker has pleaded with the fans to show understanding over his decision
to cut ties with The Wolves after a proposed move to China fell through in the
winter transfer market.

''I had come to a point where I was going on, and I hope everyone understands my decision,'' said Sylvester Igboun.
''But I will miss FCM, the supporters and the city, and I will never forget those who have helped me to where I am today.''
On the prospect of meeting Izunna Uzochukwu in Russia, he said: ''It will be
fun to meet him. We were like brothers from the first day at FCM. Then he
disappeared, but now we are all closer to each other again.''
