Abuja - Former NFF executive committee member and one-time
Secretary General Taiwo Ogunjobi wants to succeed Aminu Maigari as
President of the footballing body.
Ogunjobi, who was handed a 10-year ban by the past
administration, is among the candidates who have collected and submitted
forms for the August 26 election, Kick Off Nigeria reports.
Ogunjobi is scheduled to appear before an NFF committee on Tuesday,
along with Leye Adepoju and Rumson Baribote, to appeal their bans, which
are expected to be lifted as part of the conditions for peace after
Nigeria's FIFA sanction.
