Nigeria ladies set to get opponents in UEFA Champions League

Lagos - Nigerian ladies involved in the 2015/16 UEFA Women's Champions League will get to know their opponents in the round of 32 draw in Nyon on Thursday, News24 reports.

Reigning BBC and African Women's Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, who is currently recuperating from a knee injury might not break too much sweat as her club Liverpool Ladies were seeded.

Super Falcons skipper Evelyn Nwabuoku and sharp shooting attacker Adule Charity - both representing BIIK-Kazygurt have their club unseeded.

For Minsk, their hopes lies on red-hot Uchechi Sunday, Ishola Tawa, Esther Sunday, Onome Ebi and Gift Otuwe. They are unseeded too.

The duo of Sarah Michael and wing dazzler Ogonna Chukwudi will be praying for a favourable draw in the colours of Swedish outfit KIF Örebro.

Ferencvaros star striker Ebere Orji is the top scorer of the competition with nine goals from three appearances.
