London - Nigerian starlet Chuba Akpom has extended his contract with Arsenal, Mirror reports.
Akpom agreed a four-and-half-year contract extension, shunning interests from other top clubs across Europe.
In England, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City were top on the chase for the 19 year old, while Borussia Dortmund, Red Bull Salzburg, Feyenoord and FC Twente are others outside England.

Akpom has been handed better plating time since the beginning of the year as manager Arsene Wenger was desperate of keeping the striker at the Emirates.
In December 2014, Akpom and Semi Ajayi expressed interest in
being part of the Super Eagles international friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire
and Mali in Abu Dhabi in January, but were not invited by coach Daniel Amokachi.
