Zagreb - Nigerian youngster Theophilus Solomon scored his
second career hat-trick, which helped his loan side NK Sibenik to a 3-2 victory
away to NK Rudes, which helped them extend their league at the top of the
second division table in Croatia to seven points.
The 19 year old Nigerian scored his team and the game’s
first goal but needed to score once again to help his team claw their way back
into the game after the home team took a 2-1 lead.

The game was slowing down into a 2-2 draw but the Nigerian
had other ideas at 90 minutes on the dot with both teams expecting the final
whistle, Solomon controlled a wayward shot from a teammate with his right
evading his marker with his touch before lashing in the winner with his right.
The hat-trick was his second after scoring twice for NK
Zadar last season in a cup game against Zagora and in his second consecutive
loan spell away from Rijeka, he has been pivotal to Sibenik staying top of the
second division with 6 goals to his name from 7 games.
He is now the top scorer in the league as well and his team
who have two other Nigerians - Okechukwu Aliyu and David Nwokolor on their team
are run away leaders of the division. For
