Nigerian starlet makes debut for Gillingham

27 July 2015, 17:28

Lagos - Twenty four hours after completing his transfer to Gillingham, Adedeji Oshilaja made his unofficial debut for the League One side in a pre-season friendly against Dover Athletic.

The Anglo Nigerian was named in the starting line- up but was replaced at the start of the second half by ex-Republic of Ireland U21 international John Egan.

Oshilaja has admitted that he's lacking match fitness but he is confident that he will be in tip-top condition before Gillingham's first official game of the season against Sheffield United on Saturday, August 8.
