Oregon - Portland Timbers' Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi has been named in the Team of the Week in Major League Soccer for the latest round of games.
The 24 year old earned a place in the list following his brace in the Timbers 2 - 0 defeat of New England Revolution on Sunday, which took his tally for the season to 6 goals in 15 appearances.
Against New England Revolution, the second half substitute first hit target in the 86th minute before he cemented the win with his second goal of the game one minute from time.

The former Dynamo Kiev man wasn't the only Nigerian player in the spotlight last weekend, and is one of the nominees for the Goal of the Week alongside Chicago Fire's Kennedy Igboananike.
Both Nigerians will have to see off competition from three other players - Toronto's Sebastian Giovinco, Orlando City's Cyle Larin plus New York City's Thomas McNamara - to win the Goal of the Week award.
The winner of the accolade, which is voted on by fans, will be revealed on Friday, June 12.
