London - Peter Odemwingie says he was approached by Stoke in
2013 when he was still at West Brom, Sky Sports report.
The Nigerian joined Cardiff City in September after a long
battle with management of West Brom who had refused to let him go.
The former Lille forward however failed to make impact at
Cardiff, and consequently signed a one-and-half-year deal with Stoke in January
Odemwingie, who has now regained his form, revealed that manager
Mark Hughes tried to sign him in the summer of 2013.
