Abuja - Osaze Odemwingie has expressed satisfaction with his debut performance in his new side Cardiff City’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Odenwingie entered the game in the 65th minute and came close to scoring, but could not convert, Kick Off Nigeria reports.
He was also involved in build-up play as he pulled back a pass to Aron Gunnarsson only for the defender to miss the target.
Odemwingie said he did not expect such a great reception at his new club, but added it would have been good to get on the score sheet.
Odemwingie was signed from West Bromwich Albion on deadline day.
