Lagos - Nigerian striker Nnamdi Oduamadi’s recent display for Nigeria at the Fifa Confederations Cup has earned him an immediate recall to his parent club AC Milan, KickOffNigeria.com reports.
The 22-year old scored a hat-trick against Tahiti in their opening Confed Cup encounter which left Milan CEO Adriano Galliani, who immediately contacted coach Massimiliano Allegri to recall the Nigerian back to the Serie A giants for pre-season training.
Oduamadi was part of Milan’s youth team that won the 2010 Italian Cup, but has only one senior Milan cap to his name. He spent last season on loan at Serie B outfit Varese, where he made just 16 appearances after a lengthy injury layoff, scoring two goals. Despite this, the talented forward was named in Stephen Keshi’s squad that traveled to Brazil.
