Ogunbote demands Sharks improvement

01 April 2014, 15:07

Abuja - Sharks FC coach Gbenga Ogunbote believes that his team is still a work in progress in spite of their impressive 3-0 win over Crown FC at the weekend.

Goals from Isah Danladi, Ifeanyi Inyam and Frederick Obomate gave the Blue Angels a comfortable home win over the visitors from Ogbomosho at the weekend. But Ogunbote insists there is still room for improvement.

"We give glory to God for the result. The team is still work in progress and we must improve on our finishing," Ogunbote said.

Commenting on the win, the club's long serving captain, Odinga Odinga, revealed that the win puts them in good stead ahead of their clash with Dolphins in the Port Harcourt Derby next weekend.

"The victory sets us up nicely for the derby with Dolphins in a few days. We have to put into use our momentum," Odinga said.
