Ibadan - The Glo Nigerian Premier League has recorded its
20th win on the road in the current season with coach Gbenga Ogunbote’s 3SC
picking the maximum point at Heartland FC in Owerri with a 3-1 win in a week 22
Considering that in the last two seasons, the number of wins
on the road in the league has continued to increase; 18 wins on the road in
2013 and 25 in 2014. This term, 20 wins away from home have been recorded
already and it looks like more wins will still be recorded.
Ogunbote, who took over at Oluyole Warriors in June, maintained
that he'd preferred not to see the win over Heartland FC as a revenge but
instead as positive improvement on his team.

"I don't want to see the win over Heartland as a
revenge but as an improvement for us (3SC). To have scored three goals away from
home is huge, but we hope we can get the wisdom to manage this success,"
3SC has struggled at the base of the NPFL log at the early
