Athens - Olympiakos striker Michael Olaitan has been released from the Metropolitan hospital in Greece after he collapsed, Goal reports.
The Nigerian forward collapsed unchallenged during a game against Panathinaikos at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on Sunday, March 2 2014.
He was administered a first aid treatment and immediately rushed to the hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
Olaitan has now been discharged to re-unite with his team-mates at Olympiakos, and has expressed delight for the care he received while in hospital.
