Lagos - Anglo Nigeria midfielder Chuks Aneke, who was once
on the English premiership giants Arsenal’s books, is under consideration from
new Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh, ahead of September's AFCON 2017
qualifiers against Tanzania in Dar Es Salam.
News24 gathered that the former England youth international,
who moved to Zulte Waregem of Belgium last season, made 30 appearances for the
modest top division side, scoring twice in the process, although he has also
had loan spells at Crewe Alexandria, Preston North End and Stevenage.

The midfield powerhouse reportedly met with the former Super
Eagles captain in Belgium recently, where Oliseh made it known to him that he
is under consideration ahead of the Tanzania game.
However, any potential call up by Nigeria still requires a
clearance from FIFA, before he can play for Nigeria as he has already played
for England at youth level, although he qualifies for Nigeria through his
