Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has left English champions, Chelsea for Turkish
club, Kasimpasa on loan.
21-year old was left out of Chelsea’ pre-season tour after returning from yet
another loan spell away from the club.
has spent the last two seasons on loan at English Championship club,
Middlesbrough but has elected not to return to the Riverside Stadium, instead
preferring to play top flight football in Turkey with Kasimpasa.
move to Turkey may not be unconnected to the announcement made by new Super
Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh that players in lower divisions will no longer be
eligible for national team selections.

central defender is still contracted to Chelsea until June of 2018, having
signed for the Blues in 2012 but is yet to feature for the Chelsea first team
and spent his first season as a Chelsea player on loan at Dutch club, Ado Den
finished in a disappointing 13th position last season, and Omeruo
will do well to help them finish higher up the table next season.
it remains to be seen if Oliseh will regard the Turkish top flight as one of
the ‘credible leagues’ he talked about during his unveiling last Wednesday.
