Rome - Ogenyi Onazi's agent Jonathan Barnett is set to meet with SS
Lazio president Claudio Lotito this week over the future of the Nigeria
Onazi, one of the standout players in a respectable Nigeria
World Cup outing, has been the subject of interest from clubs in England as
well as Germany and Barnett is expected to meet with the Lazio president to put
the offers on the table.
Reports out of Italy suggest that Lazio would be willing to
listen to offers on the region of 10 to 14 million euros for the 21 year-old.
Onazi is currently recovering from an ankle injury suffered
at the World Cup, but the Rome club do not expect that to be a hindrance to any
Barnett has already completed one major transfer this
window, shifting Ashley Cole from Chelsea to Lazio's city rivals AS Roma.
