01 July 2015, 09:39

Abuja - FC Inter Turku midfielder Vincent Onovo's scoring rate is very impressive though his primary responsibility on the pitch is to protect the back four.

The 19 - year - old was pleased to score his first professional hat-trick in the league as FC Inter Turku thrashed Veikkausliiga champions HJK Helsinki 3 -0 on Monday evening at Veritas Stadion.

''I am so happy that I scored three goals against a big team and I think it's a nice thing to celebrate with my teammates. This is my first hat - trick and I'm so happy about it,'' Vincent Onovo told news24.com.

Onovo gave everyone a sneak preview of what to expect from him in Finland's topflight this season when he netted four goals in a Cup game against RoPS back in April.
