Ordega assures of AAG ticket

Lagos - Super Falcons striker, Francisca Ordega has assured that her side will qualify for the 11th All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville, Supersport reports.

The reigning African champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Mali in the first fixture of the final round qualifying match on Saturday at the Stade Modibbo Keita in Bamako, Mali.

Ordega said her side will get it perfectly right in the reverse fixture in Abuja to book passage to the quadrennial multiple sports showpiece.

“We’re quite disappointed with the 1-1 draw against Mali in Bamako in the first leg fixture of the All Africa Games.

“We wanted to avoid the sad repeat of the event that happened 11 years ago against same side but the ugly incident refused to go away.

“We’re almost on the verge of claiming the maximum three points in the encounter before the unexpected happened.
