Nollywood actor Osita Iheme, aka Pawpaw, insists that the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) can be a whole lot better than it is presently, SuperSport.com reports.
Iheme who has interpreted roles in over a thousand Nollywood movies is surprised that there is no title sponsor for the NPFL blaming the situation on "the absence of a sound marketing structure" which will attract investors from the corporate industry.
"There is no involvement of corporate branding in our league. The organizers of the league should make it a business because it is a profitable venture.
"They must give investors a reason to invest (in the league). As it is, investors will not come in because the picture painted by the organizers is not very favourable. We need to re-strategize and make our league a brand," Iheme said.
