Abuja - Ahead of their announcement of Sunday Oliseh as the next Super Eagles coach, President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has continued to sing the praise of the former Nigeria captain.
Pinnick, who met with Oliseh in London as they discussed the vacant Super Eagles coaching position, has continued to wax lyrical about the former Juventus of Italy midfielder despite concerns from some section of Nigerians over Oliseh’s apparent lack of coaching experience.
But Pinnick is remaining undaunted in his belief in Oliseh, and says he believes the former Super Eagles captain will ‘restructure’ Nigerian football.

“He (Oliseh) has been talking about how to restructure our game pattern and that is what redefined German football,” Pinnick said.
“Their playing pattern was restructured from the German rugged football or the German Machine because it wasn’t doing anything for them and they had to restructure.
“Now they do tip-tap, the same as Bayern Munich. Also look at Borrussia Dortmund and look at every other team because they are all doing tip-tap and Oliseh, after clearing from the National Sports Commission and if he’s going to come, will do tip-tap.
“What he will do will really go beyond coaching because he says he really wants to redefine football in Nigeria and one thing I have discovered about him is that he is very passionate,” Pinnick added.
