Rangers coach hails Nathan Oduwa

07 September 2015, 16:03

Edinburgh - Rangers manager Mark Warburton reserved special praise for Nathan Oduwa following the teenager's man of the match performance against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship this past weekend.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee was in action for 70 minutes as Rangers thrashed Raith Rovers 5 - 0 in the fifth round of matches in the Scottish Championship and was credited with three assists, including the penalty he won.

''All over the park, there were some great performances, so it was a really pleasing afternoon’s work,'' Mark Warburton said to the club's official website, rangers.co.uk

''For Nathan, his challenge will be to break into the Spurs first team. He knows what he has to do in terms of his assists and his geography on the pitch, scoring goals and playing his part.

''But today (Saturday), he was excellent and thoroughly deserved his ‘Man of the Match’ award.''

England youth international Nathan Oduwa is on loan at Ibrox Stadium until the end of the 2015 - 2016 season.
