Lagos - Brown Ideye was relieved to finally break his eight-month
international drought, and says Stephen Keshi's belief helped him
through the lean times, KickOffNigeria.com reports
Ideye pounced on goalkeeper Lare Diarra's mistake to run the ball
into an empty net for his first, then snapped the offside trap to chip
over the goalkeeper for a sublime second as Nigeria coasted to a
comfortable 4-1 win.
"I thank God because I have been waiting so long for this," Ideye told KickOffNigeria.com. "I always had belief in myself and I know that I can do it."
