Remo Stars eye first victory

25 February 2014, 19:24Israel Ojoko

Lagos - Remo Stars FC will be seeking to claim their first victory when they welcome Ekiti United to the Dipo Dina Stadium Ijebu-Ode on Wednesday in a week 3 fixture of the Nigeria National League.

The Sky Blues Stars are yet to secure maximum points in their first two league games and will be aiming to break the deadlock when Ekiti United come calling.

Team Captain, Victor Mbaoma has indicated that it’s no tall order for the Sky Blue Stars to achieve as they are in the right momentum going into this encounter and they are fully prepared.

“Looking at our last game, we drew MFM at home and we could have actually won the tie but we were quite satisfied with the draw because it reduces the pressure going into this encounter."

“We are fully prepared as we have gathered a lot of confidence ahead of the game against Ekiti United, every form of complacency has been dashed as we are fully focused on the game”.

“A win puts us on a very good stand on the log and we will continue to fight hard and better our position on the log.”
