Abuja - One
of 2015 Surprise team, Kukuruku FC (Auchi) ended their adventure in this year's
Competition after losing 0-3 to Premier League club, Rangers int'l (Enugu) at
the Kwara State Stadium in the round of 32.
FC had cause tongues to wag after the non-league team defeated Premier League
club, Giwa FC in the round of 64 of the 2015 Federation Cup but the Auchi based
team just couldn't stop Bobby Clement from getting a brace and Chisom
Egbuchulam from getting the third goal.
Kukuruku FC gaffer, Sani Sardauna expressed huge disappointment at the
officiating; he told News24 in Ilorin that the referee must be suspended.

referees should have conscience. The spirit of the Federation Cup is the
surprises that comes in the competition but in this situation weren't giving a
level playing ground at all. In fact the centre referee deserves to be
suspended indefinitely, “Sardauna told News24
had a very good first half even though the rains made the pitch waterlogged but
I'm a shamed that the referee resumed in the second half with some very strange
decisions. He made sure he frustrated us".
however admitted that Kukuruku FC will focus on Edo State League after his made
a statement in the 2015 Federation Cup.
"Going forward, we shall focus on the Edo State League. The
target now will be to qualify for the Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL)
playoffs, “Sardauna stated.
