London - Four days before the start of the new season,
Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the signing of Sheyi
Ojo on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
The England youth international has explained the rationale
behind his move to The Molineux Stadium.
''Brendan Rodgers told me that he wants me to get more
experience and Wolves is a great place to do that,'' Sheyi Ojo told
''It’s a club moving forward, trying to get promotion. I’m
just really happy to be a part of it; hopefully I can make a good impression
and do well this season.''

The 18-year-old has spent few days with Wolves but he is
impressed with the facilities on offer at Molineux and Compton Park.
He said: ''It’s a really good club. It’s got great
facilities. All of the players are nice, they have welcomed me to the club and
the staff are brilliant as well.
"I’ve heard a lot about the attacking force with Benik
Afobe and Nouha Dicko so I’m looking forward to linking up with them.''
Having been involved in pre-season training with Liverpool,
the Anglo-Nigerian is in good physical condition, and could debut for his new employer
in their season opener against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday.
