Siasia has invited five more players to the team's camp ahead of the return leg
of the African U23 Championship final qualifying fixture against Congo in
According to Siasia, the players were invited to add bite to
the team's attack and solidify the defense as the team intensifies preparations
for the potentially explosive return leg in Pointe Noire on Sunday, August 2.

The invited players are overseas -based Aminu Umar and
Abdullahi Shehu, Semiu Liadi of Warri Wolves FC, Ndifreke Effiong of Abia Warriors
and Flying Eagles midfielder Kingsley Sokari.
The home -based players are expected to report to camp
immediately while those based overseas are expected in camp by this weekend.
Meanwhile, Coach Siasia has sounded a note of warning to
all players given permission to travel after the team's first leg game against
Congo in Port Harcourt to report unfailingly to camp on Wednesday or be axed.
Nigeria defeated their Congolese counterparts 2-1 in the
first leg at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
