Stoke fans pick Moses ahead Odemwingie

29 August 2014, 16:02

London - Hundreds of Stoke City fans have voted Victor Moses as man of the match on his debut against Portsmouth, SuperSport reports.

An online Sentinel poll has seen Moses receive an average mark of 8.65 out of 10, with striker, Jonathan Walters (8.45) the only other player over eight.

Walters scored twice in a 3-0 win, while Moses caught the eye with some dazzling skills.

Peter Odemwingie started the game and was substituted in the second half but it was Moses that hogged the headlines for the right reasons.

The 23-year-old completed a season-long loan switch from Chelsea earlier this month and showed with his display at the Britannia Stadium that he still has much in his locker.
