London - Striker Luis Suarez has extended his contract with
Liverpool by five years.
The Uruguay international joined the club from Ajax
in January 2011 and has been a controversial figure in London, Daily Star
Last summer Suarez suggested the club had reneged on an
agreement to let him leave if they failed to qualify for the Champions League.
He expressed his delight at singing a long contract with
Liverpool and hoped to attain greater height at the club.
