Montevideo - Uruguay have suffered a World Cup shock with
their star striker Luis Suarez set to undergo surgery on Thursday just 21 days
before the competition begins, reports said.
Liverpool's Premier League Player of the Year injured his
knee in training on Wednesday but there is hope he could still play a role for
the 2010 World Cup semi-finalists' in Brazil.
Uruguay's first game is against Costa Rica on June 14.
